Iron Log User Support
Iron Log is the simplest way to plan your week, log every set, and build a strength training habit that sticks. This guide walks you through everything you need to get started and get the most out of the app.
Getting Started
1. Create your account
Open Iron Log and tap Sign Up. Enter your email and a password (at least 6 characters), then check your inbox
for a verification email and tap the confirmation link. Once verified, return to the app and sign in.
2. Meet your weekly plan
After signing in, you'll see a starter weekly plan with several training days already set up. You can use this plan as-is or customize every part of it.
3. Pick a day to view the calendar
The calendar strip at the top shows the current week (Monday–Sunday). Tap any day to view it. Today is highlighted, and days with completed workouts are marked.
Using Iron Log
Logging a workout

Tap any day card on the home screen to open that workout.

Tap an exercise to expand its sets.

Enter the weight and reps for each set, then tap the checkbox to mark the set complete.

Your previous weight is remembered and pre-filled the next time, so you can log faster.

When all exercises are done, the day is marked Done automatically.

Customizing your plan

Edit a day: Tap the small pencil icon on any day card to rename it, change the emoji, or update the subtitle.

Add a new day: Tap + Add New Day at the bottom of the home screen.

Delete a day: Open the edit screen for that day and tap Delete.

Edit exercises: Inside a workout, tap the pencil next to any exercise to change its name, sets, reps, or notes.

Add exercises: Use + Add Exercise at the bottom of any workout day.

Streaks and consistency

Iron Log tracks your weekly consistency and shows motivational messages as you complete workouts. Finish all your planned days in a week to grow your streak.

Account management
• Sign out: Tap the sign-out icon in the top-right of the home screen.

Delete your account: Tap the trash icon in the top-right. This permanently removes your account, workout plan, and history. This cannot be undone.

Set up your week once, then just open the app and log. Less tapping, more lifting.

Use the notes field on an exercise to remind yourself of form cues or tempo.

Don't worry about missing a day — just pick up where you left off. Consistency wins over perfection.

Weights you enter are remembered, so progressive overload is as easy as bumping the number up.

Troubleshooting
I didn't receive the verification email
- Check your spam or junk folder. If it's still missing after a few minutes, try signing up again or contact support using the details below.
I forgot my password
- On the sign-in screen, use the password reset option and follow the link sent to your email.
My data isn't showing up
- Make sure you're signed in with the same email you used originally. Your workout data is tied to your account. If something still looks wrong, please reach out.
The app is behaving unexpectedly
- Close and reopen the app. If the problem continues, contact support with a brief description of what happened and what device you're using.
